Events marking Dave Brubeck’s centennial year begin at the Jazz Education Network 11th Annual Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Orleans. There will be many Brubeck-themed events and a historic exhibition from the Brubeck Collection with Brubeck family members in attendance. This is the Brubeck family’s home-town where Dave and Iola Brubeck lived for 43 years. The Wilton Library added an auditorium named in their honour where it hosts a regular jazz series. There will be two shows.
